This film coins and defines the word for our era: composition director, the human who makes every creative decision a machine performs. As far as its maker has been able to find, this profession has never had a name before. You may be hearing it here first. Remember where.
The documentary is proof of its own argument. Its maker wrote it the way a composition director works: the ideas, the arguments and every decision hers, developed into script form in working sessions with Claude, an AI, the same way she directs machines to perform her music.
She then researched and edited the film alone, assembling it piece by piece from scratch, couture style, with the same technique behind When Harry Potter Stole the Music of the Universal Amphitheater.
